Keith McDonnell - Producer / DJ and owner of Electrofly Records, and co-owner of UK dance imprints Baroque and Method Records.

Keith has been DJing for the last 10 years and producing, on and off, for the last 4. As with most, he started out by DJing in his own back yard - Coventry - and gradually went further afield to venues like the legendary "Milk Bar" - London, the "House" and later the "Garage" club in Nottingham and Bonds in Birmingham . Though it was during his early days of DJing, at a local venue in Coventry, that he hooked up with fellow Coventry kid Mick Park (Tilt, Parks and al tastes they became friends and went on to produce together (with Mick Wilson) as Ritmo Rivals project. Towards the end of ‘99 the plan was hatched and Keith and Mick began work on setting up baroque records. Keith left his job as an engineer to look after the running of the label, they signed Odessi "Moments of Space" and the rest is history.

As a DJ Keith plays "a solid selection of deep/tech and and progressive house" and in 2001 has played in Tele-Aviv, Israel... Berlin, Germany... Dublin, Ireland... Orlando, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Texas and Miami, USA... Toronto, Canada... As well as around the UK. Highlights of Keith's DJing in 2001 include Spundae in San Francisco and LA, Stern Radio in Berlin, The Baroque end of tour party @ The Cross in London and his event of the year was djing with Danny Tenaglia @ Dannys own "Vinyl" night in NYC!

On the production side he works under his "Innate" guise, reflecting - he hopes - the quality of his now established and influential Coventry counterparts Tilt and Quivver with his own tuff and twisted sound. 2001 saw the re-release of his "Innate" - "changes" track - now signed to Platipus - following it's massive success on baroque, with support from all the usual suspects. It's inclusion on various compilations (including the "Home" CD mixed by Steve Lawler) and being used twice in Parks and Wilson's Essential mix on Radio 1 helped raise the Innate profile. Also released in 2001 on US label "Sunkissed" was a collaboration with Andy Moor and Bill Hamel titled "Barotek" which was produced in Orlando on one of Keith's visits. He has also in the last 12 months remixed Jade "The Safar" on Method (which received support from Pete Tong on radio 1), Sleepfreaks "P.H.B" and Nash T "Orca" for Australian label EQ.

At the start of 2002 Keith released the follow up Innate track titled "Roots Rock" which has already been included on various CDs inc. Parks and Wilson's "Painting on silence", He is currently in studio working on further projects and is currently putting the finishing touches to a track he did with Andy Moor and Austin Leeds. He has also just signed his Indigo " Division" track (another one of his guises) to Australia's EQ imprint which has been remixed by Moshic.

On the DJing side a Baroque tour is currently being put together with more dates in America, Germany, Mexico, Scotland and Ireland, Australia, Asia and Canada as well as all over the UK.

On top of all this he'll be working hard to build up Baroque, Method, and Electrofly Records.
